It's nice to have NASCAR wrapped around your finger so much that a crew chief can call out a caution from spotting debris to get your lap back. Since it didn't work the first time and Robby Gordon got the lap that Jimmie was supposed to get NASCAR gave him a second chance. And on another note, what a chicken-sh** move to not even try to win the race and play it safe. That was real exciting. (NOT!!)

Yeah, I subscribe to the theory that NASCAR dictates the race with their debris cautions. Still anything can happen.

Geez Gumby, chill out. Oh yeah, Chad Knaus really has NASCAR in his control. That truly explains why he received a six week suspension last year for a rules infraction. Keep in mind that NASCAR has spotters around the track to watch for debris. Quite often drivers and/or crew chiefs will report debris but it still has to be confirmed by a NASCAR official before the caution flag is put out.

Ok check this out. NASCAR doesnt like for folks to talk bad about their points system. So therefore I will say this once so as not to offend NASCAR. Race each race at each track. If a driver does that he/she (thats for all past and future female drivers) will do well in the points. Me I could care less about the points race. I want to see all the drivers race and race hard in each and everyrace. I also think its pathetic that there are drivers in the chase that hasnt won any races in the first 26 races and maynot win any in the last 10. You can all scoff and tell me how wrong I am. I dont care. This is how I see it. However, I'm always open to others opinions and thoughts. SO please everyone put your 2 bits worth in.

I agree Walter. Race every race. I agree it is the smart thing and safe thing to do, but that is not what the fans want to see. The drivers talk about putting on a show for the fans ... that's no show I want to see. Everybody says "nobody likes coming in second". Apparently JJ doesn't mind coming in tenth!

If every driver Races (not points racing) in every race, the show will be there. The racing will be so much better and more exciting. Every lap of every race will be like the last five laps of the races we have seen lately.

I totally agree with you Walter, NASCAR definitely needs to revamp the points system. In addition, I would like to see them schedule races at each type of track for the Chase, short track, intermediate track, super speedway and road course. I say leave the qualifying for the Chase as it is, the top 12 in points, but eliminate the bonus points for wins in the first 26 races and award 10-15 bonus points for a Chase win. That would help eliminate someone from hanging back as some feel that Jimmie Johnson did in the Talladega race. I think that would put enough emphasis on winning that it would force all the Chase drivers to give it their best shot. Anyway, you requested the opinion of others and that is mine.
