Break out the crystal ball

This is turning into one of the silliest silly seasons I’ve seen in many years. I’m already confused so heaven help me come February 2009.

Adding to the confusion…..

Martin to the #5 with Hendrick

Mears to the #07 with Childress

Almirola full time in the #8 with DEI

Stremme to the #12 with Penske

Logano to the #20 with JGR

Stewart to the #14 with Stewart-Hass

Bowyer to the #33 with RCR

Menard to Yates racing

Newman to the #39 with Stewart-Hass

Sorenson to the #10 with Gillett-Evernham

Speed to Ganassi

Not to mention Mike Wallace in the #10 for Saturday nights race at Lowe’s

Allmendinger in the #10 for the last 5 races of the season.

And who knows how many changes will take place in the off season.

Sorry I'm not trying to be a know it all. However, I'm pretty sure that Scott Speed is going to Red Bull to Replace Allmendinger. As far as "Silly Season" well, its not over. As a matter of fact, its just starting. See tighten down your seat belt.

I stand corrected Walter, Speed is indeed going to Red Bull, not necessarily as a replacement for Allmendinger but as the driver of a third Red Bull car, #82 I believe.

The 82, if I understand correctly is just for scott to get some laps in. They have Mike Skinner in the 84 for the rest of the season to get it into the top 35. Then next season Scott Speed is supposed to be in the 84 full time. Thats how I understand it. However, we will all see how things look in Feburary.
