If you haven't been introduced to Faye Wong YOU SHOULD BE!!

Obviously I am not talking about those who know and love her but those who have never seen her or heard her.

In Wong Kar-Wai's movie 2046 she gives the best presentation I have ever seen as an Android, an along with the hauntingly beautiful music it quickly became my favorite movie of all time.

She is simply delightful in Chungking Express. I love the scene where she peers out from her sunglasses. Now every time mine slide down on my nose I am reminded of her. She has also provided the world with many many songs that I have actually downloaded by buying them on Amazon. Qi Zi is my personal favorite. And no I don't understand Mandarin but I understand the music. It is truly beautiful. Stop by YouTuBe and type in Faye Wong. Watch some of the videos posted there. If you don't fall in love with her ...well...jeez what can I say?

I can't get enough of Faye, but you will probably like Tony

I adore this film! I saw it once then went out and bought a copy the next day. My favourite bit is when Tony Leung's character is consoling things in his apartment after the stewardess girlfriend leaves him. When he's talking to the soap and the dish rag it's so endearing, sad and yet humorous.

This is a great movie to watch after a break up.

I got it!!!

Naturally the local Blockbuster didn't have this, (my store is sadly limited)but my online provider came through for me.

I absolutely have a huge girl-crush on Faye Wong! I had never seen her before, but her character was so delightful as she danced around the apartment, moving her life into his for hours at a time.

MarkVH you are so right about her. Every movement, every gesture was adorable.

Nhyrvana, those dialogs that Tony has with the mysterious crying dishrag, the soap, the sardines and that big striped stuffed animal were wonderful. They made me want to laugh and cry at the same time.

I love the way so many different cinematic devices were used in this film (stop action, slow motion and voice over). It seemed inconsistant at first but as the film progressed, you could see how each device contributed to the scene it was used in.
