My teen troop supported of our service men and women in a number of ways this year. This year we once again supported the "gift of caring" during cookie sales. For every donation of 3.50 we set aside a box for the troops. As part of our set up we had a borrowed uniform on a cardboard "manequin". A 30ish female came by bought cookies and told us how happy she was to see us supporting the troops. She then spoke to me and asked if we could use a desert uniform for display next year. I gave her my contact information and a few months later a uniform was on my door step. I just gave it to my troop this evening. They will use it next year as we once again sell cookies and support our troops. The young woman who donated her uniform has shipped out for her second tour. God bless her!
