IT'S NOT JUST THE MUSIC

I used the music to kick it off, but this group is open to anything that had to do with the 50's. Cars, Midnight Drag Races, The Start of the Interstate Hwy System. Sex, Brown vs. Board of Education, What of the 50's influenced what happened in the 60"s, 70's and beyond. You name it, I bet I or someone on TBD can comment on it. Let us know whether it started the downfall of civilization, or the new enlightenment?

The 50's? I was even a twinkle in my parent's eye yet. Can I still play in the group? eek! I just thought of my parents having sex. ugh.

Unless you lied about your age to get into this august group, you must have been a twinkle somewhere in the very late 50's

Before I get a lot of questions; the sweat shirt photo is a mistake that I can't figure out how to get rid of. Maybe I could say it is there just to show how old I look. After all, the Snowshoe ski area wasn't even a twinkle in anybody's eye in the 50's.

I should explain Robbie - whilst I am certainly of this vintage - I never heard a single note of Rock and Roll until the mid 1960's - through no fault of my own.

It was the fault of my parents.
