I took this on an ATV/motorcycle ride in the Sangre de Cristo mountains in south central Colorado. Elevation is about 9500 feet and this view is the reward for a moderately difficult 1 hour ride, with a 2000 ft elevation increase. The whole meadow is surrounded my stands of huge aspen trees. It is awesome!!

I have to ask, How did you find the location. My daughter is wanting to go on a ATV ride with me to Colorado and I am having trouble finding a ride that she would enjoy. Any thought on a scenic ride for a novice rider.
Nice picture. I was just in that area about a month a go. I may have gotten a couple of meadow pictures. Will have to try & find them & post.
