I've been a flirt for quite a while. I flirt with my wife's friends and coworkers. Heck, I even flirt with her older sister! They seem to enjoy it.

Believe me, these women would tell me in a heart beat if they didn't like it! My wife doesn't mind; she knows I'm not going to try to seduce them.

I have social anxiety disorder. So I use humor and flirting as a coping mechanism. If not for humor and flirting I would still be the one at the party sitting alone in the corner getting plastered while waiting for my wife to take me home.

On TBD I flirt to get discussions going between myself and someone I find interesting. If she's receptive to my flirting, we may become friends. If not, that's life, we move on.

Careful with that coworker thing. Some of the roughly mid-20s on down have been indoctrinated that it's sexual harassment. And management is so insecure, they'll back almost any complaint rather than risk a suit.

I do the same thing, suffered the same thing on top of being shy and reserved. I think of flirting as a way of complimenting someone without saying they are beautiful or sexy, it is like in the old silent films where the women would "bat" their eye lashes at a guy. It is hard to do these days without worrying about a harrassment suit. My company has zero tolerance which is good for those who are tormented by sickos but most of those are long gone.

When I'm in a relationship, I tend to only flirt when my SO is not in my presence - both my ex-husband and ex-boyfriend were the type to get jealous very easily. I was just in a bar waiting for a friend last night and found myself flirting with the much younger guy sitting beside me.

I find I love to have some of the men on here send me a wink or a hug, any type of gesture that they like me. Seems its all innocent fun so far. And, I am a flirt. I'm single too.
