Did anyone else catch the disappointing show on National Geographic Channel about the "rehabilitation" of these animals? Seemed to me that it was just a bunch of training and no rehab. Training is great and all but, sending those poor abused dogs into unsuspecting homes with little regard to their true mental health scares me. Being one who studies the psychology of dogs, I found a lot to be concerned about.

Thanks for posting---I didn't catch the show. I'm glad to learn these poor animals will be cared for until they pass. Hopefully the people involved will show them love and affection

No, the judge ordered that only 1 (the most human aggressive) be kept at the facility for life. The others are going to be adopted. They will be adopted into homes, with no REAL rehabilitation, with children and other pets.
Although I thank God there is a place like dog town to help with abused and abandoned dogs, I think it would be in their best interest (and the interest for the adopters and not to mention the dogs) if they used psychology as their primary source of rehab and not rely solely on training. Training alone is like giving a witch a makeover.....On the outside she may not look like a witch but on the inside........
