Hi all. I posted a question the other day about getting activity in my new feeder. So far what worked was moving the feeder closer to the house...that is, making it less exposed. And the other tip that worked was tossing some seeds onto the ground below it.
There's been a good deal of bird activity over the past few days. Mourning doves, junkos, robins, some other cute little birds I don't know the names of. Unfortunately, one or two jays are showing up. Any ideas on how to keep them away? I sent my Lab to chase one of them away, but don't want to do that too often. The lab is birdy enough.
