I have always been inspired by the writings of J. Krishnamurti's and the important philosophical implications of religious thought his words and ideologies cover. He was obviously a very brilliant man and a forward thinker for his time. While reading his writings I am often reminded of his experience with the Theosophical Society and what impact his experience with them influenced his writings. He grew up in India which is probably known as the most spiritually religious country in the world. Spiritual practice is literally found everywhere. He was also highly educated in western intellectualism. I wonder, if there is some intellectual rebellion to the religious doctrine that he found everywhere in his life? Is he speaking from fact, or as brilliant as he may be, a sophisticated intellectual rebellion to imposed religious circumstances?
