I actually just put my home on the market......but it truly is a terrible market......I also got a really, really, really great deal in another state.....so I guess it will all be a wash...... I have very little faith that the economy in general will get better for a long time....too many pigs have been eating at the trough....the real estate market should recover though because the population keeps growing....those kids are gonna have to get their piece of the american dream

FHA rules have changed in the last few weeks which make it extremely hard to buy a house without great credit! Foreclosures have made 80/20 loans go away so you also have to have money to put down which you didn't need in the past few years. In our market, it's the homes over $200K that aren't selling or are staying on the market past the original 6 month listing agreement. The ones in the $150K and under are still doing okay.
