30 Seconds To Mars

I became a fan of this group for two reasons - one, I was already a fan of the lead singer, Jared Leto, as an actor; two, they had a song on the soundtrack to the movie The Invisible, which I already loved. So while searching on YouTube for the video to The Kill, I found another video of a song called From Yesterday. There's also an acoustic version.

Although I can't say that I found the band as appealing as you did (by which no disrespect is meant), I did want to recommend a band to you that might be to your liking. The vein is similar, I think.
