There are many reasons why a man can't get it up - physical, psychological,relational. Something can be done if he wants to deal with it and the two of you can still have sex without intercourse. Time to make some demands for counseling and an evaluation of the problems.

You have to realize that for men sex is all about erection and orgasm. Women tend to enjoy the intimacy, the closeness, the whole aspect of the relationship including the sex.

But if a man, for either physical or psychological reasons, feels stressed by sex, he cannot get aroused and therefore sex is nearly impossible and certainly not worth the effort.
