Yeah, I'm there too.
She's a nice person. good friend, pretty good roomy, I feel more for my friends than I do for her, and that is mostly a reflection on me, not her. I don't know how to change that though. She's happy as a lark, I'm in a hell of loneliness. I feel insanely guilty for that.
The question is though, what do I want to do about it? I so wish I had a clue. It isn't so horrible that I can convince myself (yet) to run for the door, but not good enough that I can see myself staying here for another 5 years.
I'm annoyed with myself for being such a whiny spineless thing: decide already!

Does "spark" = "sex"? Maybe a little casual conversation? Dancing?
Spark around here = a little spooning before passing out. We're more like business partners than roomates. That's how we avoid dealing with all of our marital problems, including sex. We rarely argue - we just plod along, day after day, one issue at a time.
My 2008 New Years Resolution is to go out and have some fun: ski, dance, surf, make love, dance, make love some more, cook naked, jog on the beach, sex, drugs, rock n' roll. Time is running out.
