FRIDAY, JUNE 27TH ~ EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY

This is one of the blessing of having a 19 year old son at home; he turns me on to incredible music. This has become on of my favorites ~ instrumental ~ a group of young musicians out of Texas ~

Hi Pete,

Beautiful ~ I had never heard of Mychael & Jeff Danna; that is until now. Thank you for turning me on to their music. I love the violin/fiddle...it's an instruments that "speaks" to the spirit, literally, really quite amazing.

"Way back when, in 67" - literally, every morning at 6:30, the local radio station would play "Get on Up", when all us chillens had to get out of bed and get ready for school. "Get on up, get on up and sock it to me." Not the same song as JB's "Sex Machine" - "get up, get on up". Though that's a good starter song too!
