Have you ever heard surf music?

This is the good thing about having a talented husband. He's an Economist by day and a musician by night (As we speak, he and his band are in Indianapolis playing a show). Anyway, I met him through his music. He used to have a band called The Space Cossacks. That disbanded after 2 CDs and much critical acclaim in the Surf Instro community. He now has a band called The Madeira, also on their 2nd CD, released to much critical acclaim. :)

Hi Christina,

Thanks for posting your husbands' link...totally groovy sound!!!! I love it! I wanted to get up and dance while listening, especially to Cordoba & The Saracen. I had visions of John Travolta and Uma Thurman dancing in Pulp Fiction. I wish them much success; they certainly are incredibly talented. Thanks for sharing.

I'm so happy that you enjoyed it, and thanks for the compliments! You hit the nail on the head when you referenced Pulp Fiction. That movie served as a kind of "revival" of the surf instrumental sound.
