I don't have cable, but will probably catch it when it's on DVD. I'm a Highlander fan, more or less. The series got me through a very bad spell in my life, so it has a place in my heart. The episodes varied in quality, of course, but some of them were surprisingly good. I've been thinking about putting them in my Neflix queue and watching them again.

The last Highlander movie wasn't too bad. Very good action, and it introduced me to Donnie Yen, a terrific martial arts star.

Yeah, I'm one of those peculiar old ladies who loves martial arts movies.

I just joined and I'm glad to see I'm not the only SF/Fantasy fan who thinks the SF Channel needs to upgrade their movies! And don't even get me started about the new Flash Gordon series!

Are you kidding ? There can be only one Highlander and it was the original movie.

we do not have cable or a dish so are at the mercy of network programming

but we did discover stargate sg1 through DVD's and now it has become a favorite even though we are not sci fans (or weren't until stargate)too bad it was canceled
