Yeah , Wizards may be Baski's best film but it's far from his most famous .
Hamilton was awesome in T-2 , great selection . Really nice list . I should have considered Close Encounters .

These are both MST3k episodes .I'd missed Prince of Space . Thanks Charker .I remember Starman who was also known as Super Giant . Super Giant was the inspiration for Prince of Space . Have you seen it ? BTW all these films are appealingly awful .

I hadn't heard of Wings of Desire . I just looked it up and it is now on my to see list . Thanks Angharad .
I so wanted to see Solaris ( the remake of Solyaris ) but Clooney said at every press appearance that it wasn't really a SF movie because it wasn't stupid . I understand what he meant but I couldn't bring myself to support him with my money .On your recommendation I'll look for the original .
