OK, some of you guys and gals must be gamers too. I don't have much time for them anymore, especially traditional RPing games, but I've been playing a Sci-Fi MMPORG game a lot for the last year called "EVE-Online"

(as of my writing this, the site is down, but I expect it back soon)

I like this game because:

1) It's amazingly beautiful

2) It tells a story and allows for decent role-playing

3) It takes way more than half a brain to get good at this game

4) You can advance without having to spend hours and hours online

I also like some board games with my kids--the current favorites are Carcassonne -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carcassonne_(board_game)-

and Blokus (http://www.blokus.com/)

The only computer games I ever played was the Myst series. Never did complete the third one, though my son and I wrestled with it for months.

Doubt that i have the computer requirements for online games, which is just as well. I don't have the time, and probably not the necessary concentration any more.

I play the City of Heroes/City of Villians. It's a very nice MMORPG, lot's of fun and a good community. New and inexperienced players are treated very well.

Look it up as CoH on your search engine. It's a superhero world so there is a lot of variety in character design. There are ten day free trials available if you can't find one online send me a message and I'll try to set you up.

I have some good friends that love CoH. Sounds great, someday maybe I'll have time for more than one MMPORG... :)

Hey Guys,

I went to eveonline and was impressed by the game but too intimidated to try it as my first mmog. I then went to city of heroes. Looks great, but again felt it may be too demanding for a noob. I'm cutting my teeth at http://lordsgame.com.

And of course still bangin' away at my ps2 and Fate.

If you want to check out Lords and need a sovereign, come find "Ancient_filipino"

I got sucked into Dark Age of Camelot a few years ago by a then-boyfriend. Had a great time playing, but no time now :(
