Hello! I am not only new to this group but also new to this social network - but I am an old hand at social networking.

Anyway, I thought that I'd throw out a few names & titles and see if there are any folks with similar interests here:

Clare Bell, author of the fantastic 'The Named' (otherwise known as the Ratha) series of YA fantasy novels about intelligent, prehistoric large cats.

Gayle Greeno, author of the Ghatti series of telepathic, off-world cat books. Yes, I am a confirmed lover of books, music, artwork, anything involving felines.

Ray Bradbury - My favorite work by him is, by far, 'Dandelion Wine'. I just learned tonight - by messing around on Amazon.com - that he (now in his mid-80s) published an "extension" of his original, 1957 work called 'Farewell Summer' in 2007. I just ordered it. :)
