The lady who had owned "The Tradwinds" for decades answered that her worst mistake was, she got angry and fired Jimmy Buffett and told him he had no talent. Although the owner who fired Jimmy,Toni leonard has passed on "The Tradewinds" remains with much the same ambiance as it had when it opened here 60 some years ago so if you happen to be in the historic downtown area ,drop by.Your first impression upon walking in will be "what a dive" but after a few minutes and a couple of drinks,you'll get it.
