LOL! Just little ol' me. Saw the name of the group and figured I fit the description and requirements. I also wondered how much flack this group gets as being separatist and old-fashioned and whatever else you have heard when blacks form a group such as this.

Old-fashioned? Separatist? Us? We know better. I don't think any Black person here is a member of THIS group ONLY. But as we are in the minority, we do like to seek each other out and exchange ideas. It just seems we can't do it without attracting a crowd. *LOL* TBD is no different than any other place on the net or in RL. So be it.
Give us flack? huh-uh. It was posted in another discussion that we have the support of our non-Black brothers and sisters and they're interested in what we have to say.

HOWEVER - I've never joined a discussion group of any type in my life just to be listened to. I thought the whole point - the key to the dynamics - was the "exchange" of ideas. We're not all right. We're not all wrong, but "discussing" various subject matter could very well give us all insight.
Just a crazy thought I had.

I'm hoping they would come out and speak there minds, not behind another discussion.
Apparently there seems to be quite a few people out there that don't seem to like expressing opinions either because it contrary to those already voiced, what they were going to say has already been posted, or because they don't have an opinion on the subject. Some may not feel comfortable with their own opinions enough to voice them. And there may actually be some that just like to read others ideas, more readers than writers.
