...earlier in the day...

He was having a drink under a large colorful canopy, near the pool. That upbeat island music seemed to be carried along in the warm breeze coming from the ocean. Sea air. That distinctive scent that holds the aroma of the water, salt, and creatures of the deep, rushing in over the waves. The music and the sound of the waves crashing together tells you to relax. To slip into a state of mind found nowhere else on Earth. You sip on your island drink. A fruit filled concoction made just right by that sexy little Mexican behind the bar. Your eyes are on him now though. The man seated under the canopy. He doesn't know you are there. Not yet. He's reading a paperback. His loose, floral, cotton shirt spills over his chest. It's open, unbuttoned. Cool, comfortable khaki shorts. Great legs. Strong, defined, tanned. You sneak a peek at the outline of his 'package'. "Nice" You let slip out... Ooops. Now he knows you are there. You giggle. Now embarrassed that he caught you dead to rights. A warm breeze coming off of the ocean, just at that very moment, presses your soft dress up against your curvy body, the light from the sun behind you illuminates your body through the dress. His eyes sparkle when they meet yours. He is smiling at you...

he says excuse me miss I believe this belongs to you. As he stretches his hand out to you you see your earring in his hand ... it must have fallen out earlier in the day by the pool. She looks him deep into his gorgeous green eyes and smiles with a flirty grin. She says "those are are my favorite earrings how did you know it belonged to me. He responded because I noticed them on you earlier. She reaches to gather her earring and pauses as he gently rubs his thumb across her soft fingers. As her heart begins to race he ask her to join him under the moon for a glass of wine. She glances around into his arm to look for the wine... and giggles a little asking you have wine with you. He says I have a bottle back in the condo and I will be right back to join you on the blanket in the sand. He hands her the blanket and tells her to find a nice spot and he will join her momentarily. He hands off the blanket to her as she catches another touch of his skin. Her hands gently run down his arm as she gathers up her blanket. She heads off to the sand... all the while her mind racing, thinking of his gorgeous chest, muscular arms and handsome sexy well defined facial features. She giggles a little thinking is this really happening. She strolls to a spot down the beach and stretches the blanket upon the sand. She notices the freshness of the crisp blanket in the night air. The moon catches her attention and she settles onto the blanket. She sees the silhouette of him as he walks toward her in the moonlight. His shirt wavering in the gentle ocean breeze.

He hands her a perfectly chilled bottle of Dom, as he reaches into his pockets for the flutes she slugs him with the bottle, steals his wallet and walks down the beach with Juan the bartender who is in fact Cuban and not Mexican, they're in Miami. SORRY I couldn't resist, too many years being a cop in South Florida, besides it's too early to be running around town with a hard on! lol
