To heck with the guilt trip. In today's world you have a lot of glib jerks who think they can get away with just about anything. I sure would have checked on him (or her in my situation)I agree with wsrussell, but I will add the warning of what is he hiding?

I wasn't expecting to feel guilty today.

i was fine with myself yesterday. Some of you might have read my earlier post this week explaining it in better detail.

He instant messaged me today telling me I'm controlling, sarcastic and unfeeling.

Okay, I guess the sarcasm thing he has dead on, but OMG don't I have enough to deal with without this guy tugging at my last raw nerve.

i have a custody battle going on where my children were taken from me because my ex acused me of being a mentally ill mother just months after losing a new born (premature birth) and i have to prove every day That the accusations against my ex by my children are true (abuse) This has been very hard for me but I'm doing it and should have my son back with Full custody soon.

This guy knows I have a problem dealing with accusations against me when i know i didn't do anything wrong. He knows that's when I'm at my most vulnerable.

I know what he's doing, but at the same time i'm hurting today and i cant help it.

Does that make any sense to anyone aside from myself?

I'll be fine in a day or two, then i'll go into pissed off mode again.

Its happened before so i know the process. just bare with me if you can.

Maybe you need to break off from old relationships, (the EX and all his crap) and focus on you and the kids. Forget about any NEW relationships for a little while.

You don't any more electricity or bills that go with it.

Thats another thing, he's not even an ex.

He is a guy i spoke on the phone with for a couple hours a day for over two months, went out on one date with him. He kept asking me out and could never make it so i decided to tell him to just stop contacting me over the voice mail.

I had already called it off so i shouldn't be feeling guilty right now and i know it.

Granted i'm not about to beg his forgiveness or anything.

Although my feelings are out of wack, i do still have my basic common sense

Well, he's an ass in your life right now, not an asset, so kick his guilt flavored butt out of your life and quit latching on to any convenient chatter-head.

Just be Trippihippy or the dearest person you are, and take care of yourself and the little ones, and FORGET ABOUT NEW RELATIONSHIPS. They will come running to you, no matter what, but just tell them you will be more stable and emotionally available LATER.

Do the right thing.
