EXCHANGING WAVES–44
What that dares
The flag to wave
And says goodbye
To the gentle,
Pennant's lay
Has come share its freshness;
Brings
Stirring–Up ...
The leaf,
In all its twirling sting
Watching your way of gust
Slicing through the meadow's stare
Spreads the seed;
That sprays their share
Wind!
Who traveling with a mist of care
Wind!
Who trims the breeze's dare
You keep me busy;
Looking where your next of roam
Might ever I find ... Your place called home
Wind!
That cause the flag to wave at me
I think more; I'll just let be
As you cool,
The heated day for me
My thought is
Surrender,
That just what be
The flag;
I choose
Wave
