Will the Giants Repeat their SuperBowl Victory?

Will the NY Giants repeat as World Champions in 2008?

While we at PossessionPoints.com have not finished crunching all our data yet, we have strong indications that the Giants probably won’t be our pick to win the Super Bowl again. It’s true they had a better than average draft, but when we look at their last season’s performance, we have to say they truly overachieved. Don’t get us wrong: we are happy for this overachievement. The Giants definitely have some positives going for them, and they are a team on the upswing. However, there are many a team in the NFC and AFC that we could make as good a case as the Giants for winning the Super Bowl. We are always thrilled to hear from our subscribers and visitors, so tell us, Group Members what you think.

As much as I think Eli Manning has matured into a better than average QB. I don't think this team can repeat the Super Bowl. I think yo repeat, you really have to have some Hall of Fame caliber players that stay with the team thru their career. I don't see that(yet) with the Giants. I thought the 85 Bears would repeat(and three-peat for that matter). I think the NFL is very difficult to do that because of such high caliber of competition.

I expect the Giants to have a good year again, but I dont think they will go to the super bowl, let alone win it. There are many good teams. As a Bears fan, I hope to see the Bears win the super Bowl!

As much as I'd like to see the Giants repeat, I really don't think it's going to happen either.

I'll be watching the AFC pretty carefully this year, what with Bill Parcells in Miami and Brett Favre with the NY Jets??? Now THAT would be something!
