Text messaging on citizen time, with a citizen cellphone and a citizen carrier account are "public domain".. period .. ! If we taxpayers "pay for it" .. it belongs to us citizens.
The Mayor of the City-de-Troit, Michigan is finding out the hard way. It will be his downfall for carrying on an affair with another public employee (that means the details of the affair are public domain, too) and he is gonnah go to jail ( Ha ..the Gangstah Style Mayor will join his comrades at Jackson State Prison) for purgering himself in an $8-million dollar, out od court settlement, Whistle Blowers Law Suit.
The point being .. if one is a Public servant .. unless you pay for it out of your own pocket ..just like the citizens do ..it is not yours and it is the Public domain.
