What you said is true. I do not drink powdered beverages or soda. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean.

We used to use coke to remove rust off the pipes in our dairy barn! I've also heard that if you put a piece of meat in a bottle of coke or pepsi, it will "eat" it. Never tried it but if it worked as a rust remover, I don't doubt it would dissolve a chunk of beef!
