The furry faces of occupation
The protesters in McPherson Square and Freedom Plaza are more diverse than certain media outlets would have you believe. But the male occupiers do seem fond of beards, mustaches, and other forms of facial hair.
Chevy Chase, Md. resident Carl Klein, who's been trimming his beard in this style for years, arrived at Occupy DC on Tuesday, a few hours before this picture was taken. Klein called Occupy DC a "left version of the Tea Party" and said he was considering camping out, but first just wanted to test the waters and see how he could help.
