Behind the counter at the Black Cat
The Black Cat's Food for Thought cafe feeds bands and fans alike every day. The menu's filled with meat, vegetarian, and vegan items, including fresh baked goods by the café's owner. The haphazard seating inside Food For Thought is part of its charm, although they're making improvements — recently a series of band posters were hung on the walls. Half of the cafe's business comes from musicians playing here. As part of their contract, bands are frequently provided food from the club or a stipend to eat out, which may come out to two dozen people for the Black Cat to feed.
