D.C. Furies rugby: Girls who scrum the world
D.C. Furies is one of the oldest women's rugby clubs in the nation.
During a practice drill on March 21. At the end of last year's fall season, Fitz said the Furies "set some pretty high goals and standards for people to workout, lift, and get stronger and faster over the winter. I think a lot of people have done that and taken it to heart." Ultimately they want to be more competitive in the WPL and rank within the top four teams, while they've finished sixth or seventh in the past.
