Maine Avenue Fish Market: Fresh fish for sale under a D.C. bridge
Each day, fishmongers at the Maine Avenue Fish Market sell their wares, both fresh and cooked, for prices lower than those at D.C. grocery stores.
Those rockfish were caught and sold to Jessie Taylor Seafood by Mike Harley, 48, a fifth generation waterman who's been fishing for 30 years. Harley, who can trace his ancestors back to 1776, said he's the only commercial fisherman in Fairfax County.
