D.C. rallies to save home of former paramedic

Occupy Our Homes DC on Monday rallied to help stop the eviction of Deborah Harris. Harris worked for 23 years as a Paramedic EMT with the D.C. Fire Department before suffering an injury on the job, causing her to fall behind on her mortgage.

Just before 12:30 p.m., the two dozen protestors left the Freddie Mac office and marched up 7th Street into Chinatown. A D.C. police cruiser and motorcycle trailed the group but didn't try to stop them.
