Fancy foods: D.C. hosts food event
D.C. this week saw some fancy dining—showcased during the 2012 Summer Fancy Food Show held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
The Fancy Food Show is put on by the National Association for Specialty Food Trade, a 50-year-old nonprofit based in New York City. This massive event takes up two levels of the Convention Center and showcases 180,000 products from 2,400 exhibitors based all over the world.
