Girl Scouts celebrate 100th anniversary
An estimated 200,000 Girl Scouts came to D.C. to celebrate their 100th anniversary. Some of them got to watch as the artist known as GAIA, made finishing touches on his likeness of Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Low on Sunday at the National Portrait Gallery.
Eva Lynne Seibert-Steptoe (second from right) has been portraying a 27-year-old Juliette Gordon Low for the past seven years (the Girl Scouts founder died of breast cancer in 1927).
