Girl Scouts celebrate 100th anniversary
An estimated 200,000 Girl Scouts came to D.C. to celebrate their 100th anniversary. Some of them got to watch as the artist known as GAIA, made finishing touches on his likeness of Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Low on Sunday at the National Portrait Gallery.
Back at the National Portrait Gallery, Shana Corey signed copies of her new illustrated children's book, "Here Come the Girl Scouts!" The author said she was a Girl Scout for one year while living in Brooklyn, N.Y.
