Girl Scouts celebrate 100th anniversary

An estimated 200,000 Girl Scouts came to D.C. to celebrate their 100th anniversary. Some of them got to watch as the artist known as GAIA, made finishing touches on his likeness of Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Low on Sunday at the National Portrait Gallery.

Lauren Gentile (not pictured), founder of the Logan Circle-based Contemporary Wing gallery, who represents GAIA, said the artist's work would move to the Girl Scouts national headquarters and then eventually return to the National Portrait Gallery.
