About Me
The past couple of years have been life altering for me. Both my ex-partner and I were diagnosed and treated for Cancer. I've been out of treatment for almost a year and a half. Unfortunately she wasn't so lucky. Ovarian Cancer sucks!! Over and over we were told how great we were handling the situation, especially preparing our young daughter for her other mom's impending death. Since I've gotten into writing through blogging I've been inspired to write a book about our experience as a way to help other adults experiencing and illness and/or death help children through the emotional ups and downs of grieving.
The best part of the past few years...parenting my funny, bright, loving daughter.
