Do's and Don'ts:

Always show the benefit not only to yourself but to the other person. Don't point fingers or accuse, it only fuels fires. Keep it neutral

and show that as mature adults this is they way

to move on. Life is ahead of us not behind us.

Say This:

Since we have decided to cut our ties to each other it would include resuming our lives on

our own. Unless it directly affects us as

people connected by financial situations or

children situations then we need to discuss

it. Otherwise, we should both move on and

develop our own independence. Staying involved

in any way is not moving on and will cripple

both of us emotionally. I don't want to live

that way and neither should you.
