Say This:

WHY DO YOU NEED TO TELL HIM...DOES HE STILL HAVE SOME TYPE OF HOLD ON YOU... DO YOU STILL LOVE HIM AND THINK THAT THERE IS A CHANCE THAT YOU ALL CAN REKINDLE YOUR RELATIONSHIP?

It almost sounds like you are trying to appologize for dating. The truth is you don't owe him an explination. If you are looking for permission or approval for dating now that you are single, just give it to yourself.

Don't say anything. As my attorney would say "They are the enemy, don't tell them anything, ever!" Chances are, it will only lead to some form of manipulation, he'll use it against you.

No need to tell him or get approval from him.

Good for you!! However, why do you think you need to express this decision with your Ex? Moving on is a choice you two made in the break-up. Your life is your own--don't waste it on the feelings of another. Enjoy the new advanture!!
