Do's and Don'ts:

Don't add someone to your family circle who may leave. Your kids have already been left.

Don't think your time away from them to be with her isn't felt by them.

Do have a relationship with them that would make your question unnecessary.

Say This:

Kids, you know Miss So-and-So has been hanging around a lot. She likes me. I like her. We are having fun. She doesn't want to be your mother because she knows you already have a mother.

Whaddaya think? How's it feel to have her around?
