Do's and Don'ts:

Don't try to talk him out of it or overwhelm him with statistics.

Do tell him that whether you're in menopause or through it, you will still insist on condoms.

Do buy and try an assortment of different condom styles (lubed and non) to try out.

Do try to have fun in choosing one that's the least awful to him.

Say This:

Sweetie, where I am in my menopause cycle is really not the point. The fact is, pregnancy is still possible as are diseases that you or I may not know we have. In any case, I will not have intercourse without a condom. So we can have other kinds of sex, we can try the female condom, or you can learn how to be comfortable with condoms and we can proceed to enjoy ourselves. Your choice. I know what I prefer.
