Bruce DePuyt Host,

Bruce is the host of “NewsTalk,” NewsChannel 8's daily interview show.

Bruce is a veteran journalist, having covered local, national and international issues for nearly 25 years. Every day he engages the region's leaders in spirited, informative conversation.

In addition to hosting NewsTalk, Bruce is a regular on WAMU's “The Kojo Nnamdi Show” and WDCW's "NewsPlus with Mark Segraves.”

Before joining NewsChannel 8, Bruce was a reporter and anchor at WVIR, the NBC affiliate in Charlottesville. He began his career as a reporter and anchor on "Cable News 21" in Montgomery County, where his talk show, “21 This Week," was honored with a national CableAce award.
