The District staple — now available at two of the three sporting venues in the region — was nominated last month for the award. Instead, the Mid-Atlantic region's digestible dude-i-tude will be epitomized by Primanti Brothers.

It's not been a great off-season for Washington Redskins fans, what with the QB controversy, the unkind predictions, and the petulant owner's hopeless lawsuit. But we have some good news! Ben's Chili Bowl is opening two locations in FedEx Field this season, with kiosks at section 341 and another at section 420. And the rapidly expanding local institution is done.
