Busboys and Poets' quest to corner the regional market on spoken-word poetry, live nu jazz, fair-trade knickknacks, and readings by brilliant, obscure authors is nearly complete: The local food-and-words business has gone tri-state — well, two states plus the District — with a fourth location opening today in Hyattsville, Md., at 4 p.m.

A look inside Paul
Paul will celebrate it's opening with a ribbon-cutting next Thursday, the 28th, and officially opens May 2nd. The interior space looks largely completed, however, and it is beautiful inside. If the food is good, we expect Paul to be very popular. It is spacious and looks comfortable and relaxing - the type of place you'd want to stick around and read the paper on a Sunday afternoon.

Tout de Sweet opens in Bethesda
A few months back, we mentioned that a new pastry shop was opening on Woodmont Avenue in Bethesda. It looks like we didn’t have to wait too long as Tout de Sweet officially opened for business this past weekend. We had heard that the grand opening was this Saturday, but as we walked by their shop on Friday and noticed the open door, it had turned out they were running a soft opening.

Burapa Thai opens in Clarendon
Clarendon has a new Thai restaurant. Burapa Thai opened its doors on Monday. Located next to Circa at 1210 North Garfield Street, the restaurant serves Thai classics like Pad Thai and Kaprow, in addition to some signature dishes like the crispy Burapa Noodle in spicy chili gravy.

Pizza Autentica has opened up at Crystal Drive and 23rd Street in Crystal City. The location is the South Arlington counterpart to the rapidly-growing pizza chain’s Ballston restaurant, which opened in October.
